The Return To Writing Creatively

The last 13 years of my writing life have been as a journalist.

I report stories and I research topics for radio. Strictly the facts, simply stated. For radio, my well stated opinion of those facts.

The journalism rule, has become a grind.

*insert long yawn here*

My soul is fed by well crafted stories. Non-fiction, fiction, memoir...I love reading them and wanted my turn writing them.

2015 is about returning to the things I love.

More reading, more writing are near the top of this list.

What's Hot Wednesday - America's Best Dance Crew

ABDC, as the hip one's call it, is BACK!  This is really one of the last fun family shows out and suprisingly it is on MTV.

If you haven't watched it with a child you are missing a treat.  My 4 yo and her 5 yo friends love this show and crack me up imitating the moves which are all G-rated, though admittedly a bit dangerous.

You can hit up YouTube! and put in ABDC + Jabbawockees or ABDC + beat freakz and see some of the best performances.

America's Best Dance Crew - MTV - Sunday's beginning August 9th at 9pm (usually reairs during the week at 4 or 5p)

I think I have the youngest Maxwell fan on the planet.
When he came on, Babygirl sat in silence and then near the end started singing "pretty wings" with him. When it was over she had a chill, you know, a little shake...
I said, "You like that song?"
She said, "Yea, I want to give him a hug"
ROFL! She's got good taste huh?!
Actually my husband has a beautiful tenor voice and I think he sounds like her daddy to her.
