R. Kelly speaks...

...and I'm listening. I am one who has basically given up on this dude. I don't want to hear his music anymore because I can't help but read "I love young p*ssy" into each song. I'll listen to hear what he has to say. He'll have one more chance to get me back.

I am one of the few journalists, besides my girl Gina, who has not watched the child porn called sex tape.

Tell me what you think before and after.

AFTER THE INTERVIEW THOUGHTS:

I was so embarrassed for Robert that I had to keep switching it on and off. I caught this question and just went.....you decide.
Paraphrasing:
Toure: So do you like teenage girls?
Robert: When you say teenage girls, what age are you talking? ......I do have some 19 year old friends but not illegal ones.

WTFunk?!?!?

TEEN-AGE GIRLS...19, 18, 17, 13 it's all the same when you are a 40 year old man!

I won't be "Steppin' in the name of love" anymore and I do see something wrong "with a little bump and grind".

Hey there@

I haven't seen the video! I didn't need to see it.

I am angry that black girls are not protected from sexual predators in the black community! I wrote a post last week on "The Silencing of The Castaways" and I mentioned how many black women remain silent about sexual predators in their OWN FAMILIES and in their lives. Nearly half of black women have been raped or sexually coerced and no one is talking about HOW to rid the black community of sexual predator culture...no one.

R. Kelly is not the problem...he is an example of what happens when we leave the problem unaddressed!

Peace, blessings and DUNAMIS!

ha. That's true though. Very true.

I can't tell you the last time I've really bought an R Kelly album. It has nothing to do with the sex trial and what not, I think Kells make good music but it's kinda redundant now. Still, he's a legend though.

Maybe one day he will stop the other stuff (child porn).

I was always a big fan of R. Kelly, I nearly have all his albums. When he came to Germany I was the first one to buy tickets for his concerts, last one I went to was in 2001.

Eversince I read about his weakness for very young girls and all the things about that, I can't help but listen to his music differently paying more critical attention to the wording.

Greetings from Germany.
