The first day of school was too exciting. We decorated baby-girls door with streamer and balloons.
Flowers for the teacher......
My daughter (husband :-) brought me these and the photo does not do this bouquet justice. It has sunflowers, orchids, rosemary and too many other flowers and stuff to name. I LOOOOOOOVE flowers.
We went to see The Longshots.
LOVED THIS MOVIE! Of course KeKe Palmer can do no wrong, she was so believable as a quarterback. Ice Cube has been a favorite of mine from back in his "AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted" days and his children's movies are classics. Big mad props for this one. A definite must see.
I'm looking forward to overdosing on political coverage this week. I'll lose some sleep time following the Democratic Convention. I'm so impressed with the DNC for allow Michelle Obama to "set it off" tonight. She OPENS THE CONVENTION. It is major that she gives the prime time speech the very first night. Hindsight is 20/20. I wish I had requested press credentials to cover this historic event. I don't know how I'd have done it with school and production repsonsibilites here, but I'm sure we'd have managed. I won't, however, miss the inauguration of President Barack Obama in 2008.
Have a great week! I'll be in and out as I can as I adjust to my new schedule.
Also, I haven't had as much time to read my favorite blogs but as I get time I'm reading up and even commenting on some of your older posts.
I want to say a big, "Miss you and take care" to Lovebabz who is taking a blog break. Do yo' thang girl. Get happy and be blessed!
