Well, by the time I cast my vote I think I was out of tears LOL!
When I pulled up to take pictures of polling places at about 5:40 am there were Black people lined up already having a GOOD time laughing and full of energy. When I pulled up tears welled in my eyes. I was so proud of Lexington today!!!
Place after place there we were and for once I really believed "Yes, We Can!"
I really hadn't admitted it, but I didn't believe Obama would win until I saw all of the people today.
If you read this blog you know what I do and how hard it is to do it in a town like this. And when THESE people showed up...I knowed there was a God!!
I am still shook up.
