Throwing up the deuces...

When is it time to throw up the deuces and quit blogging?

Is it something you'll do forever?

I started blogging to fulfill this need I had. I need to connect with some Black people on a level I haven't been able to do seen I've been here. And I found that in blogland.

Some blogs got a little too hot and I had to bounce. But like in real life, I moved on and found some friends who inspire me but I still check in with the other set from time to time.

I've been cheating on you guys and spending time on my college alumni group site. It's one of those Ning networks and I'm having a fuggin' BALL over there. I even went to Cincy last weekend for a big ass playdate with my Sigma Sweetheart sisters from college and our babies. What else is fun is that my hubby is on there too and we go on there together trippin' as we find some of our old buddies.

But I've been able to stay out of the blog beefs and just float around doing my thang. My focus has changed on my blog. I started doing series of posts to keep my mind fresh and focused, but I'll still ramble like this from time to time.

But as I see people hit anniversaries with their blogs and say they don't know if they will be around this time next year, and as I kept refreshing my page thinking it was a mistake that the lyrical one, Don, closed up shop, I wonder....when is it time...

Femme-For now, I'm in it for a while. I have to keep making it serve a purpose for me and my life. That is the tough part. But meeting folks like you was my original intent. Keep coming back!
