Womens Work Wednesday - Getting it together

I love order and rules.

Give me a rule, that makes sense, and I will follow it.

I realized around September that I had a lot of goals and no clear path to completion. I felt that I could get more out of my day than I was, but felt helpless to fix it all.

So what did I do? I googled ''[my city] + life coach''.

I looked at websites of the first few and after three, I went right back to the first one.

My coach is a sister who I didn't know but, when I put her name into Facebook, we knew many of the same people. I loved her website and the fact that her program is called ''Get Shit Done''. A cussing woman, is my kind of woman (sad to say LOL).

The Motivation Behind My Scrapbooking Journey

Confession: Scrap booking is intimidating to me.  I am not really naturally creative.  Following directions...that's me! So putting pictures together with words and ribbons and bows and....I'm getting tired thinking about it.

But I had some things I felt compelled to do through scrap booking.  I really want to put together the pictures when I visit my in-laws each year, because we don't get to see them as often as we'd like. I believe that my mother in law will appreciate the pictures this way, she'd look at them often.

Also, I feel the need to document what we're doing in our family. We are the first to ever, or at least in a long time, to attempt home schooling, gardening, Islam and working a business as a family; what I call a deeply conscious life. Having reason to do or not do everything. Nothing is done without thought.

I guess scrap booking will be like this blog for me. I'm doing it for myself, but others can see it and enjoy it if they like.

It feels necessary.

Use such materials, therefore, whenever you can. Men seldom pay much attention to the latest style, so keep up your interst in current fashions.

What the Feminie Appearcne Does
     When you dress in feminine clothes and are well groomed, it increases your feeling of self-esteem. You feel better about yourself. You are encouraged to act more feminine in the way you walk, move your hands, sit and conduct yourself. The outer appearance encourages the feminine manner.

The first step to developing a worthy character is self-control.

You need self-control to manage your life successfully, to keep commitments, manage time and money, control thoughts and words, subdue appetites, school feelings, overcome temptations and reach goals.

How to acquire worthy character
You acquire a worthy character the way you acquire anything worthwhile, by diligent effort. However, with character it is difficult to reach success without daily prayer.

Is good character beyond your reach?
Don't think that fine character is beyond your reach. Your character is not fixed or unchangeable. It was made to grow.
